Enjoy our small town hospitality while supporting local businesses. Each month, we will meet at a different local restaurant at noon to share good food and company. On occasion, we may be joined by a TK administrator, teacher, or activity director.

Grand Rapids Public Museum

Visit the Grand Rapids Public Museum, enjoy an engaging show at the Roger B. Chaffee Planetarium, and take a spin on the newly refurbished Spillman Carousel. Lunch will be on your own in the museum cafeteria. Transportation is provided by TK Transportation. The bus leaves from the south HS parking lot at 10:00 AM and returns at approximately 2:00 PM.

Frederick Meijer Gardens-Outdoor Chihuly Exhibit and Spring Gardens

Enjoy spring at Frederik Meijer Gardens & Sculpture Park. Upon arrival, a staff member will escort you on a private tram tour of the park. Take in the outdoor Chihuly exhibit, then enjoy free time to explore before a chef-prepared boxed lunch at noon in the James and Shirley Balk Café (included). Tickets for the indoor Chihuly exhibit may be purchased on the day of the visit for an additional $9. 

The bus leaves from the south HS parking lot at 10:00 AM and returns at approximately 2:00 PM.
