TK Childcare is designed to provide students with social, creative, recreational and life skill development. It is a tuition-based program that is offered to all Thornapple Kellogg students in Kindergarten through Fifth grade. Please see our Childcare Handbook for more information.
TK Childcare Before and After School Program is offered to all students in Kindergarten through 5th grade in the new Early Childhood Center located at 3316 Bender Rd. TK Childcare opens at 6:15 a.m. to the time that school starts and from the time school ends until 6:00 p.m.
Fees and Payments
There is an annual, non-refundable registration fee of $35.00 per child or $55.00 per family. The fee for childcare is $10.00 per visit per child (morning and afternoon are two separate visits).
Invoices go out on Monday morning for the coming week. Payment must be received by Friday of that week.

Hours of Operation
Monday - Friday
6:15 AM – Start of school day
End of school day – 6:00 PM
Childcare does not operate on vacation days. We are open at our regular time (6:15 a.m.) on fog or snow delay days. We are open during days closed due to weather, unless otherwise posted along with the school closing.
Shuttle-bus transportation is available to and from the elementary buildings for both before and after school sessions, however we have a one-drop policy and childcare would count as your one-drop.
