TKHS was represented by 17 students at the BPA contest at Davenport University with nine individuals earning the right to advance to the state contest.

Four Thornapple Kellogg High School students earned places on the State Honors Choir. Students selected for the honor had to go through two sets of competitive auditions. Only 300 of the top Michigan choir students are chosen to participate. The State Honors Choir performed at DeVos Hall last weekend. Being named to the state choir were seniors Jacob Emery, Heather Price, Hailey Strimpel and freshman Grace Hauschild. CONGRATULATIONS!

In the midst of studying for finals, Thornapple Kellogg High School junior Derek Brandon is looking forward to a red carpet premiere release of the film "Rodeo Girl," in which he has a leading role.

Thornapple Kellogg High School students didn't open a book the day before their Christmas break, but they learned some very valuable lessons about giving to others.

Students dressed in colorful elf costumes, along with Santa, piled out of a Thornapple Kellogg school bus stopped in front of a Middleville home after dark. From the back of the bus, the students unloaded a wooden rocking toy and carried it to the front door.

U.S. Congressman Justin Amash gave Thornapple Kellogg High School government students the straight scoop on being a Congressman and may have inspired a few to have an interest in politics.

Students put their classroom skills to a live broadcasting test and found they were well prepared for the challenges.
