TKHS Students Fare Well in State MITES Competition

Projects entered sometimes took students a full semester or even an entire year to complete.

The goal of the competition is to "encourage and recognize the fine craftsmanship in the field of Industrial Technology and Career Technical Education" according to the MITES contest rules. 

TKHS students bringing home regional and state honors are; Logan Moore, first at regionals and first at state; Hunter DeHaan, first at regionals and fifth at state; Kyle Smith, second at regionals with two projects; seventh and honorable mention at state; Cody Burghdoff, first at regionals with two projects and eighth and honorable mention at state; Tyler Gehres, second at regionals and eighth at state; Jacob Madole, first at regionals and ninth at state; Alex Miller, first at regionals and 10th at state; Cody Clark, second at regionals and honorable mention at state; Josiah Ray, first at regionals and honorable mention at state; Justin Niles, first at regionals and honorable mention at state; Cody Yonkers, fifth at regionals.
