Dear Parents:
Sending your child to school for the first time is an exciting time. At McFall, we are making preparations to welcome all our incoming Young 5's and Kindergarten students and can't wait to meet everyone.
Our priority at McFall is to provide a nurturing, successful and safe educational experience for all students. Here's what you need to know for enrollment:
- If your child will be 5 years old by September 1, 2022, you can enroll them in Young 5's or Kindergarten for the 2022-23 school year.
- Open enrollment begins March 14.
- Enrollment packets will be available beginning March 1 in the McFall Elementary lobby and the Administration office lobby, 8 am. - 4 p.m. Monday through Friday.
- We strongly encourage students to attend a screening evaluation prior to enrollment submission. This helps us evaluate readiness for school and make best placements for all students. Screenings will take place at McFall Wednesday, March 9. You may sign up for an appointment through the Sign Up Genius. Current preschoolers will be evaluated for Y5 by their preschool teacher.
Young Fives Enrollment Sign Up - Thank you for the interest in our Young 5's Program at Thornapple Kellogg Schools. In hopes to reduce wait times we have created this sign up for an appointment to hand in your enrollment paperwork. Our Young 5's program is first come, first serve. Please Sign up for a time slot, and make sure you have all of the required documents and paperwork completed at your designated time. If all the available time slots are filled please stop by the McFall Elementary office any weekday between 10:00 AM - 3:00 PM after March 17, 2022.
