TKHS Brings “Into the Woods” Onto the Stage

Guests are strongly encouraged to order tickets in advance by completing the ticket reservation form. Tickets are $7 for adults and $5 for students. Tickets will also be available at the door prior to performances.

This is a family-friendly show with a cast of approximately 30 extremely talented young performers. The musical intertwines the plots of several Brothers Grimm fairy tales. Main characters are taken from “Little Red Riding Hood,” “Jack and the Beanstalk,” “Rapunzel,” and “Cinderella” and others. A Disney adaptation of the musical was released in 2014.

 

A cast of talented high school students brings music and adaptations of the fairy tale characters and stories. There are more than 20 students in the cast and more than 15 students working behind the scenes as stage managers, directors and crews.

 

Cast members include Chase Dannenberg and Thea Zellmer as the narrators, Zac Ploeg as the baker, Lee Repins as the baker’s wife, Natalie Alden as Little Red, Peter Repins as Jack, Emilia Rickert as Jack’s mom, Madeline Clark as the witch, Katy Raphael as Cinderella, Charlotte Nelson as Cinderella’s stepmom, Mia Dickman as Lucinda, Jocelynn Moore as Florinda, Lukas Walters as Cinderella’s dad, Kate Baldry as Cinderella’s mom, Jenni Logan as Rapunzel, Ethan Bitwali as a wolf, Cameron Phillips as Granny, Parker Stewart as Cinderella’s prince, Haden Bovee as Rapunzel’s prince, Zach Maring as a mysterious man, Jonas Grummet as a steward, Abigail Dumond as Milky White, and Mallory Hagemann and Alyssa Spurgeon as extra princesses.

 

Stage managers are Madeline McCrumb and Tessa Wenger. Student director/tech is Paris Viviano. The musical is directed by Laura Nikkel.
