TKHS to Celebrate Homecoming Oct. 1

The parade will start at 5 p.m. from Lee Elementary School on West Main Street. The parade route will travel west on  Main Street and make a left turn on Bender Road where it will continue to the Page Elementary parking lot.

Tailgate festivities, including games, face painting and hot dogs donated by TVC will take place by the athletic entrance of the high school by the south parking lot of Bender Road.

The TK Alumni Association will present their distinguished alumni awards prior to the start of the football game. This year also marks the 50th year of Bob White stadium and many former players, coaches and cheerleaders are planning to attend to help mark this milestone for TK.

During halftime, the marching band will perform, the TKHS homecoming court introduced and the homecoming king and queen crowned.

This year’s homecoming theme is Disco Fever for high school students who will dance the night away from 7 to 10 p.m. Saturday (weather permitting) on the football field at the homecoming dance.
