While your tax monies go to the educational resources of the school, such as teacher salaries, textbooks and operating expenses, the many extracurricular experiences your children benefit from would not happen without you and your support of the PTO. The earnings from each school's PTO fundraiser's are pooled together and divided equally among all three elementary school's PTOs. Each year the PTOs spend approximately $40-$50 per student on these activities.
The annual Walk-A-Thon is the PTO's main source for raising funds. This is a donation based fundraiser and all 3 elementary schools participate. TK PTO receives 100% of all cash and check donations and 90% of online donations received from 99 Pledges
. This year is the 9th Annual Walk-A-Thon and will be held on Friday, September 29, 2017. Each building's walk times will be sent home with your student.

We earn money and school supplies from Box Tops for Education labels and Coca-Cola Give.
Box Tops for Education:
This is a great way to help the school without much effort. Clip the “Box Tops for Education” label off from many different products including General Mills cereals, Cottonelle, Betty Crocker, Yoplait and Pillsbury. We have friendly collection contests at each elementary school in October and February. The schools earn 10¢ for each Box Top! Visit www.boxtops4education.com

and click on "Donate to Your Local School". Use the search box to find your school, then either Sign-in or Create an account. Then, just enter the codes found on your Coca-Cola Products and Coca-Cola will donate an amount ranging from 5¢-38¢ (depending on the product). The donations will go directly to your school's PTO coordinator.

Recycle and Save!
Recycle your newspapers, catalogs, magazines, phone books and other papers and help the elementary schools earn money at the same time. We cannot accept any type of cardboard (including cereal boxes, tack board, or non-corregated cardboard), metal, plastic or trash. The Paper Gator recycling bins are located in two locations. One is located at McFall Elementary in the south east corner of the east parking lot (behind the Learning Center). The other is located at Page Elementary. We earn $20 for every ton of paper waste collected. McFall, Lee and Page share the revenue equally.
Dine and Save!
Faro's Pizza Fundraiser Nights
Last year the TK PTO held 3 fundraiser nights at Faro's Pizza. We earn 20% of your purchase whether you dine in or take out on each of these nights. McFall, Lee and Page share the revenue equally. Dates for this fundraiser are October 18, 2017, February 21, 2018 and April 18, 2018. More information will be sent home with students closer to these dates.
We will be hosting an all day fundraiser at Brann's in Caledonia. The TK PTO will earn 15% of your total bill (excluding tax, gratuity and alcohol sales). You can also dine at Perfetto those same days with proceeds going to the TK PTO. The dates for this years Brann's/Perfetto fundraisers are November 14, 2017 and March 13, 2018. Look for more details about this event coming home with your student closer to the dates!

Thanks to everyone for supporting our last Schwan's Cares campaign. The TK PTO earned nearly $500! The campaign number for our next campaign will be posted here. Signing up for the campaign is simple; click on the link when available and it will take you to the page. You only have to do this once per campaign. Each time you make a purchase from Schwan's, a portion of the sale will go to the TK PTO.
During the first 45 days, the TK PTO earns 20% on food purchases and 40% on eGift Certificates! After that, it goes down to 5% for both. Please encourage anyone you know who uses Schwan's to sign up. Again, we appreciate all you do to support our schools!
