I am a former newspaper reporter with more than 30 years of experience writing a variety of news and feature stories for daily and weekly newspapers. I earned my degree in journalism from Ball State University in Muncie, Indiana. Before switching my major to journalism, I nearly completed a teaching degree and now I love how this career at TK combines my love of writing with my strong interest in education. I grew up on a small farm in northern Indiana before moving to Michigan and making my home with my husband near Middleville. I have two sons, who are both TK graduates, and I enjoy spending time with family more than anything. I also love to read, ride my bicycle, swim, hike, watch Hoosier basketball, and travel.
