Tickets are not required to attend. Gates will not open until 6 p.m. Seating for guests will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. A handicapped seating area will be reserved on the top row of the bleachers for those needing accessible seating. If the event is inside, there will be floor seating reserved for guests who aren’t able to climb the bleachers.
We are excited to also offer live streaming options for family and friends who are unable to attend in person. If graduation takes place outside at Bob White Stadium, one livestream option will be available through the NFHS Network at https://www.nfhsnetwork.com/events/thornapple-kellogg-high-school-middleville-mi/evt6e42b741b2.
A second option is through our digital media students who are working with Mr. Dean and Mr. Schilthroat from the technology department to pilot a first-year project to livestream graduation through our TK Schools YouTube Channel. This will be available whether graduation takes place inside or outside. As this is a first-year pilot program, we appreciate your patience and understanding should any technical issues arise.
The 230 members of the Class of 2026 will file in as the TKHS band plays “Pomp and Circumstance.” The TKHS Honors Choir will also perform during the ceremony.
Senior Thomas Poll will give the welcoming address and classmate Alex Frizzell will offer the senior class remarks. Senior Lilian Rubert will introduce the guest speaker, high school English teacher Tricia Rickert.
After the presentation of diplomas, seniors Jacob Newland and McKenna Hoebeke will conclude the ceremony. Newland will offer closing remarks and Hoebeke will lead the official tassel ceremony.
We look forward to celebrating the Class of 2026 and this exciting milestone together!
