All Shook Up is an extremely entertaining musical with songs you will know and love! The music of The King of Rock ‘n’ Roll, Elvis Presley meets up with The Bard, William Shakespeare in this lively production.
The show follows the basic plot line of Shakespeare’s Twelfth Night. Writer Joe DePietro introduces audiences to a typical 1950’s town filled with “familiar” characters. Mayor Matilda Hyde, (portrayed by Abby Gentz), has her town well in hand right down to the local Sheriff Earl (Austin Wiseman.) But that all changes when ramblin’ roustabout Chad (Isaac Oprea) rides into town and turns everything on its head as the town goes from "Heartbreak Hotel” to “Follow That Dream.”
Things turn crazy as Natalie (Avery Hagemann), Sandra (Leyna Mist Barnes), Dennis (Liam Jones), Jim (Lucas Eggers), Lorraine (Emery Cisler) and Dean (Alex Evans) all try to grab a bit of that dream for themselves.
Shakespearian comedy always ends in weddings, and there is a big crazy one coming to the stage of TKHS in three shows at 6 :30 p.m. March 5, 6 and 7.
The cast and crew of the musical directed by Jessica Broussard and assisted by Tina Joy, have been rehearsing for months to make this show the absolute best!
