Following the basic plot line of Shakespeare’s Twelfth Night Joe DiPietro introduces audiences to a typical 1950’s town filled with “familiar” characters. Mayor, Matilda Hyde, (Abby Gentz,) has her town well in hand right down to the local Sheriff Earl, (Austin Wiseman). When a ramblin’ roustabout, Chad, (played by Issac Oprea,) rides into town, he turns everything on its head as the town goes from “Heartbreak Hotel” to “Follow That Dream.”
Things turn crazy as characters played by Avery Hagemann, Leyna Mist Barnes, Liam Jones, Lucas Eggers, Emery Cisler and Alex Evans all try to grab a bit of the dream for themselves. Shakespearian comedy always ends in weddings, and there is a big crazy one coming to the stage.
