TK School and Community Library to Begin Curbside Service

Curbside service will allow patrons to order books and materials either through their online account or by calling the library during open hours at 269-795-5434. Once items are available and ready for pickup, patrons will be notified. Items coming through Lakeland Library delivery will be isolated for 72 hours before they’ll be distributed.

When a patron comes to the library to gather their items, they simply need to call the library office and someone will bring the items outside to a table where they can be picked up.

Just for kids, there will also be book bags available with a selection of books available for different reading levels. Book bags offer a surprise variety of books to hopefully encourage children to read and try different types of books.

The Summer Reading Program will also kick off June 16. Sure, it will look a lot different this year, but the goal is the same – to encourage summer reading habits. Reading charts will be available starting June 16 along with the curbside service. The library will also make the reading charts available on the TK Library web page.

In addition to summer reading, the library will also provide some simple Grab-and-Go craft bags on a weekly basis to be picked up outside the library. These will be filled with simple and fun craft projects families can do together or something kids can work on by themselves.

The School and Community Library is located at 3885 Bender Road, Middleville.
