Page Staff Share Family Service History on Veterans Day

Students pass by a permanent display case in the main lobby at Page Elementary School every day, but few take time to understand what’s inside. On Veterans Day many took a closer look as the display features information about Jerry Page and his service to the country in the U.S. Air Force - long before he became a teacher or superintendent at Thornapple Kellogg Schools.

TKHS and Community Honor Veterans

For 15 years, Thornapple Kellogg High School has invited the public to attend a school and community Veterans Day program. It was started largely by the efforts of John Loftus and later Charlie Pullen. Even though neither of those two men are with us anymore, the pride and tradition of the Veterans Day event remain, and it is a program they would almost certainly continue to be proud of today.

Wonder Walks Explore Nature Around School

TKHS Invites Community to Veterans Day Assembly

Thornapple Kellogg High School invites the community to the annual Veterans Day assembly. The event starts at 10 a.m. Nov. 11, in the large gymnasium. Guests should enter through the athletic lobby and park in the south parking lot off Bender Road. Guests should arrive early to check in and be seated prior to the event starting.

Thornapple Kellogg High School proudly presents “A Trip to the Moon” as their fall play. Performances will be at 7 p.m. Nov. 7 and 8 in the high school auditorium. Purchase tickets online at tkschools.ludus.com or in person at the door prior to the show.

Welcome to Thornapple Kellogg Schools! We're glad you're here!
We strive to make TK Schools a safe, nurturing, and enriching learning environment for all students where they can enjoy learning, growing and developing positive relationships with caring administrators, teachers and staff.  We strive to make every student feel important, safe and respected as well as challenged in their curriculum.
We believe we have a unique environment filled with positive support from the community, TK families and all of our TK staff - all dedicated to making our school district the very best. We are all working toward the same goal - providing each student who comes through our doors with the best educational experience possible and preparing them to achieve their future goals.
Our TK community is especially committed to our schools and work cooperatively to provide real-world experiences, opportunities and much-needed support. Parental involvement is highly welcomed at all levels. Our middle and high school administrators have regular parent advisory meetings for input and discussion. Our elementary schools are supported by a very active Parent Teacher Organization which is always looking for volunteers.
