Art Festival Showcases Student Talents

Guests to the art festival can come at their leisure to view artwork from all grade levels in the district and even purchase some student-made items.  Pieces on display will include chalk art, paintings, charcoal drawings, photography, graphic design, pottery and ceramics and so much more.

In addition, the high school woodworking students and drafting and architecture students will display many projects they’ve worked on throughout the year and had judged in the annual MITES regional and statewide competition.

At 2 p.m. during the art festival, the high school concert choir will perform in the auditorium followed by the honors choir at 3 p.m.

In addition to the spring art festival, there are several concerts scheduled through the end of the school year. These are the final concerts of the year showcasing the talent and skills students have developed. All are held in the high school auditorium, open to the public and are free of charge.
