TK Community Pool -
Our pool is located within the High School, 3885 Bender Rd. You should enter the building using the south parking lot, west athletic entrance door, near the fitness center. The pool is at the end of the hall on your left.
There is lap swim, open swim, water aerobics and swim lessons during the school year. In the summer we offer lap swim, open/family swim and swim lessons. In order to keep the pool open we need minimum participation. If we have very little participation, the pool will close. This schedule is subject to change without prior notification.
All pool events are cancelled immediately in the event there is a tornado watch/warning or school closes due to inclement weather.
Adult lap swim - (School year) Monday through Thursday from 5:00 - 6:00 pm and Tuesday's & Thursday's from 8:00 - 9:00 pm.
Open swim - (School year) Tuesday and Thursday from 6:00 - 7:00 pm (swimmers under the age of 8 years need to be accompanied by an adult)
Water Aerobics - (School year) Tuesday and Thursday from 7:00 - 8:00 pm. Instructor will collect fees as you enter pool area.
Swim lessons - The YMCA is responsible for teaching the lessons, contact them @ 269.945.4574 or www.ymcaofbarrycounty.org for more information. Click the link on the right to see a description of swim levels.
The next session of Saturday morning swim lessons will begin on October 29 and run through December 10th (no class on November 26). If interested call the YMCA at the number listed above.
More information will be posted here or by calling the Pool Hotline @ 269.795.5400 (x 4442). You may want to call the hotline before heading out the door to be sure the pool is open and no cancellations have occured.
