TK Community Pool -

POOL WILL BE CLOSED August 21 - September 5. We have some summer maintenance and cleaning to be done before school resumes. The pool will re-open on Tuesday, September 6th with it regular school year schedule. (Water aerobics will start September 20th.)

Our pool is located within the High School, 3885 Bender Rd. You should enter the building using the south parking lot, west athletic entrance door, near the fitness center. The pool is at the end of the hall on your left.

There is lap swim, open swim, water aerobics and swim lessons during the school year. In the summer we offer lap swim, open/family swim and swim lessons. In order to keep the pool open we need minimum participation. If we have very little participation, the pool will close. This schedule is subject to change without prior notification.

All pool events are cancelled immediately in the event there is a tornado watch/warning or school closes due to inclement weather.

Adult lap swim - (School year) Monday through Thursday from 5:00 - 6:00 pm and Tuesday's & Thursday's from 8:00 - 9:00 pm. (Summer - effective Monday, June 13th - adult lap swim will be on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5:00 pm - 6:00 pm.)

Open swim - Tuesday and Thursday from 6:00 - 7:00 pm (swimmers under the age of 8 years need to be accompanied by an adult) (Summer - effective Tuesday, June 14th - open/family swim will be on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6:00 - 7:00 pm.)


Swim lessons - The YMCA is responsible for teaching the lessons, contact them @ 269.945.4574 or www.ymcaofbarrycounty.org for more information. Click the link on the right to see a description of swim levels.

The next session of swim lessons will begin in September. Dates are yet to be determined. If interested call the YMCA at the number listed above.

More information will be posted here or by calling the Pool Hotline @ 269.795.5400 (x 4442). You may want to call the hotline before heading out the door to be sure the pool is open and no cancellations have occured.
