We have updated our charging policy!

Lunch Charge Policy

 

Thornapple Kellogg Students (grade k-5) may charge their lunch if they forget their lunch or lunch money. They are required to repay the charge back on the next school day. If a student has an outstanding charge of more than 5 lunches they will not be allowed to charge another lunch.

Thornapple Kellogg Students (grade 6-12) may charge their lunch if they forget their lunch or lunch money. They are required to repay the charge back on the next school day. If a student has an outstanding charge of more than 3 lunches they will not be allowed to charge another lunch. Secondary students will not be allowed to charge a la carte items.

For all students (K-12) we will provide a cold sandwich, fruit and milk if this occurs. Once the outstanding charge is repaid the student is free to charge again when necessary. If you would like to see if your child has an outstanding charge, feel free to call your school kitchen. We send out notices via email and school messenger on low and negative balances
