Energy has been at the forefront of our national dialogue this past year from the war on coal to the Paris Climate Agreement. Michigan, in particular, is among the top 10 states in the nation in terms of total energy consumption.

Join John Richter, co-founder of the Institute of Sustainable Energy Education, as he helps identify the issues surrounding energy production in Michigan, current consequences and benefits of energy sources and changes in their production, and future energy options for Michiganders.
Bus will leave at 9:45 am. for Pierce Cedar Creek Institute from the TK Senior Center located in TK High School.

Please use the Athletic Lobby east entrance (off Bender Road).
A chef prepared lunch will be provided after the presentation, and we will be returning to TK at approximately 1:45 pm.

Cost for this activity is $20.
Please register online or call 795-5578 to register before January 22.
