At Lee Elementary we celebrate March Is Reading Month with a visit from an author/illustrator and a night of family fun. Camp Read-a-Lot is a great evening of family activities that will include: Readear's theater pupets, gently used book exchange, story telling, art stations, and internet cafe, karoake and more. Michael Gleen Montore will be visiting our students during the day on March 8th. Some of his illustrated books include: "M is for Michigan", "Penny the Forgotten Coin", and "Mister Rabbit's Wish".
Camp Read-a-Lot will be from 6:00 - 7:30 p.m here at Lee Elementary. This is a family event and children must be accompanied by an adult.
Please email Stephanie Woods at swoods@tkschools.org if you are available to help prepare for this fun event. (Many things can be done at home. Some examples are to make flower and frog patterns)
